Chapter 35 – Dying Paradigms

Dragon Blue felt as if she had awakened from a long sleep
When she appeared and her form had emerged complete.

In what she thought might actually be the third dimension
Getting her bearings, focused on what looked like a weigh station.

The old building brought vibrations of being stifled by the oppressive
Air that settled in shades and hues of purple, gray, and restrictive.

All the structures around her were deteriorated
One pulled her inside that was raw and dilapidated.

She crossed the threshold, her strength drained
Her knees buckled, she slumped to the floor in pain.

A vision of the Dark Wolf sucking from her spirit, the light
Laughing derisively, she heard his thoughts, “Now you will die.”

Crawling up a corridor to a rickety stairway, she pulled herself to a standing position,
On the landing that led to two rooms; she slowly made her way, on a desperate mission

To open the door of the first room that she crashed into, falling through
Collapsing through the doorway, unconscious lay the Dragon of Blue.
