ROSE TO MY ROSE

When the sun was yawning in the east

I passed a garden full of roses

So beautiful it was, full of roses

Sun was showering them with it’s rays

Drenched in the first rays from east,

Every rose was sparkling like a gem

I entered the garden, full of life

Full of joy, devoid of thought

Joy and life had filled me completely

Thought had no space for it

All of a sudden, I saw a rose

Among the others, it was another

Most beautiful and blossoming it was

It reminded me of something

Of some one equally beautiful

I plucked it softly, took it in to me

Through the paths of eyes and nose

Mind was filled with the beauty and fragrance

Mind became a garden, and there came the beautiful one

Drenched in the fragrance of rose, smiling gaily

I left, rose in my hand, eyes, breaths and mind

I knocked her door, god was knocking my heart

She opened the door and smiled

I offered her the rose, trembling were my hand and heart

She took it still smiling

How beautiful it is, she said and kissed it with her soft lips

So sweet it is, but why to me, she asked

I shied and remained silent for a moment

Then my heart spoke and her heart heard

It was the most beautiful one, I could find

So, it only deserved you

Like you it was, live with you it will

It is the rose to my Rose.
