Dusty light, drifting slowly through open windows,
Illuminating cluttered wooden table tops.
Dishes in the sink from the night before;
Wine glasses, pizza crusts, and bowls with fudge still stuck to the sides.
Silent tranquillity, remnants of a night of laughter.
