Poem for the poets-
Lighthouse

Poet, you’re a lighthouse
standing guard on jagged mount,
a savior to the travelers
dreading passage in and out
of violent boiling waters,
jutting rocks and shallow ground.
They seek guidance through the void
and you’re the only light they’ve found.

Don’t search for other harbors,
never doubt your inner glow
when boats don’t reach your waters
or sink in sands below
for you were meant for just this place,
put here by one who knows
you’re a beacon for the lost,
through which the spirit flows.
