Things I notice in Aberdeen
I was queuing up in Starbucks by the old union building. A young woman with dyed auburn hair and square glasses was eating the whipped cream that topped off her mug of hot chocolate.

She finished off the cream, but didn't drink the chocolate, then went to the counter and said, 'please, more cream.'

The assistant squirted cream on top.

The woman went behind counter and said, 'more big, more big.' She bent down, head so close to the coffee machine her glasses steamed up, shaking her head each time the assistant paused with the can.

Her 'thank you,' sounded Polish when the assistant handed it over, piled cream melting and running down the mug.

She collected a new spoon, sat down and began scooping up the cream again.
I've never seen anybody look so content.
