A poem about purpose.
Who am I?

Why am I here?

Is there really a better place

Somewhere out there?

Why should I care?

Am I enough?

Am I good enough for you?

For I am among the very few

Whose lives have been made new.

I am a man,

A man with a purpose

Who knows the God who loves him

And saved him from the abyss.

Can you not see

This flame burning inside of me?

I will not conform to your ways

Or try to impress you with my deeds

Or by what I say,

For it is the Lord who takes care of all my needs.

I am enough for Him.

I exist to serve the Lord only,

Who forgived me of my sin.

I will soar up high

On the wings of eagles in the sky.

Will you look beyond this flesh and bone

and see the light inside?
