When oxygen ISN'T a gas...
I saw it; it was black, all scales and claws and wings. It was like a blob of all of it; there was no actual shape to it. Black eyes sparkled at me...along with green eyes, blue eyes, purple eyes, gold eyes, etc. I rose one hand and pointed.

"Look! The elusive oxygen!" I yelled. My friend whipped around, but it had vaporized itself. She looked back at me with this weird regard; she had looked before her brain processed what I said.

"What?" she asked. I sighed.

"Nevermind..." I said. She shrugged and we continued walking home from the bus stop.
