"A Chance
Of Freezing
Rain or Snow"

A curse
to the roads
is my cure

A chance
for lying
late in bed

Schools closed
Businesses
Shuttered Tight

My cat
will watch me
make green tea

Books wait,
lie fallow
and unread.

I pray
for one last
icy storm.
