What I am not willing to be to meet other's expectations, comfort, insecurity
I will not be dumb
to make you smart.

I will not be fat
to make you thin.

I will not be quiet
to make you speak.

I will not be weak
to make you strong.

I will not be vulnerable
to make you dominant.

I will not be poor
to make you rich.

I will not be short
to make you tall.

I will not be confused
to make you clear. 

From this day forward,
I promise myself.
To not hold back
the power that is within me.
The talent, brilliance,
and magic that is uniquely me
and meant to be shared.

From this day forward,
what I will not be
is not me.
