A poem my friend made. Please rate and comment!
Did you really believe
Every lie you were told?
Did you really think
Every heart was pure gold?
I'll tell you the truth
I'm just done with the fake
It's only a matter
Of the pills that you take
'Cause the end to this story
Is really kind of gory
The weak and the sick
Don't ever get fixed
Each happy couple is going to split
Every clean wrist is going to be slit
Not everything's rainbows
Oprahs, Kris Kringles
Think about this
When you leap from the shingles
Before you drop dead
Get a grip on this, please
An itty bitty thing I call reality
Remember being young
And bumping your head?
How fucking deep the wound was?
How fucking much it bled?
Can you recall the times
When your eyes were red?
Every bit of sorrow
Remorse, and false dread
I'm sure you can think
Put the pieces together
That life is as smooth
As rubble or leather
Keep your eyes open
I won't tell you twice
The only thing you'll need
Is a good, solid vice
