A poem based off my feelings towards a friend of mine. Well, he used to be a friend....
I love you, I hate you,
You make me smile, you disappoint me,
I think of you as mine, I wish you would leave me alone,
My heart bleeds for you out of compassion, I would love to cut my heart out because of you,
I want to kiss you, I want to hit you.

Half and half,
Love versus hate,
One minute I consider you my friend, the next I can't stand you,
I would risk my life for you, I would shoot you if I had a gun.

My sympathy overrules my anger, my bitterness overrules my love,
I would love you in a heartbeat, I would push you away,
Why can't you see how confused you make me?
Why can't you see how much I love you? How much I hate you?

For you're beautiful yet ugly,
Strong yet weak,
Everything I wanted in someone yet everything I don't want,
You keep pulling me in two directions; I don't know which way to go,
So I'll stay in the middle and continue to love and hate you.
