poem about life feeling who you are and who you are not
auther...patrick William

Enter Meaning

I am not the blade of grass in your field.

I am not the stone in your brook.

I am not that star in your sky.

I am not the sun that lights your earth.

I was born in this temple.

I was not the first.

And there will be another.

Its far from any civilzation.

But if your willing to travel I'll welcome you in.

Come inside and you'll find a ancient novel.

pick it up and feel its weight.

Hold it and feel its hard cover.

Open it to see its thousand of pages.

A new page inked every day and night.

I'm lost in the pages.

I'm hidden in its text.

You'll find me somewhere between the lines.

Jesus Christ being the auther.

God all mighty to be the editor.

My parents will be found in its acknowledgments.

So I ask you to read past the forward.

And continue on to discover.

The intimate insights.

And unravel the myths.

Behind the man in me.
