A poem I wrote in 6th grade (over 12 years ago) about a then futuristic alien abduction.
It was August 3rd, 2003,
5:00 am in the morning, nowhere to be.
I was riding Daydream, my horse.
Only out for a morning ride, of course.

As I was riding down the street,
I looked up into the blazing heat.
Then I saw IT.
I could not tell what it was, not one bit.

Then I thought it must be a dream,
But we stood there and stared at a beam.
Surely I thought it was not true,
But there came a little gray guy, out of the blue.

I thought it might, but I did not know.
I looked at my horse, scared, white as snow.
Could villian be raiding,
Or would aliens be invading.

I wonder where they are from, I could not tell,
But all I could hear was their tone-death bell.
What was going on?
I looked around, my horse was gone.

They took me in and experimented with glee.
Could this be true, they have abducted me?
Then I got up and turned around,
Daydream was no where to be found.

Then I found her all in a bound,
then I felt sick and fell to the ground.
When I woke up I was outside again.
I was wondering, was this the end?

I still do not know what happened to me,
5 am, Saturday, August 3rd, 2003.
