This is a love poem to somebody that I am not supposed to love.
I lie to you
That I don't care,
That I don't cry
When you're not there.
I smile goodbye
Each time you go,
Pretend that I
Don't love you so.
I say that you
Don't matter much,
That I don't crave
Your perfect touch.
And when I glance
Deep in your eyes,
I know your words
Are also lies.
