Some of us, just don't fit in.
We must have worn
  coats of polyester knit,
Perhaps in pea green
  or sunlit yellow.

We were the most
  embarrassing it seemed
Fitting nowhere at all
  in the network of "popular".

We were avoided, devoid
  of all important issues.
Shoved to the back like
  undeserving coal lumps.

But, that was all an opinion
  unimportant really to anyone.
Now, we realize, enlightened
our skin is put on the same way.
