We are all made from them, so why be sad about it? Rather nihlistic...
Heartbeat.
It's what keps us alive.
Pumping chemicals throughout the body.
Chemicals that we all need to survive.

Looking at the human body, it is miraculous.
So many chemicals are interracting with each other,
And creating electricity which in turn creates us.
People. Imagination. Life.

Life is electricity running through chemicals.
Human consciousness is a product of this.
Chemicals and electricity reacting to the environment
That we are placed in at any given moment.

God.
It doesn't exist. He is merely a figment of imaginings.
Honestly, how could an individual believe that he or she,
Out of all the possibilities in the world, has stumbled onto
The one way to immortality. Typical of our selfishness.

We are machines, designed to eat, sleep and reproduce.
Love is merely a combination of chemicals designed
So that partners can raise offspring long enough to get it to survive.
Machines, designed so that self preservation will always overcome.

We allow ourselves to be duped by the thoughts that we are unique,
And that somehow we are slightly better options than our comrades.
No matter how untrue it is. Always, there is some feature that is better,
Or more picked on, or worse, than anyone else's equivilent.

Functions.
Naturally, men and women are designed and programmed
For different purposes in the natural method of reproduction.
However, this doesn't mean anything on a fundamental level:
We are all still animals, even if we have "souls",
Which is merely consciousness, which is only electricity,
Thus rendering the argument pointless and self indulgent:
The idea that we are somewow superior to everything.

We are all merely electricity, running through chemicals.
All of which react to various environmental stimuli.
No God. No love. No personality. No soul or spirit.
Only primal animal instincts to keep alive.
And your importance becomes equal to that of the smallest,
Most insignifigant creatures on the planet. Equality.
Scary to realise how unimportant we really are, hey.

Note: I'm not a nihlist myself, but I appreciate most of their arguments on a fundamental levels, so I felt like sharing them. Please don't take this as an attack on you. If you are interested in further reading, read Neuropath by Scott Bakker. It explains the Argument better than I can (with my dodgy prose writing). Responses are appreciated.
