Attempt at structure and rhyme.
You wrote me a love song, here is my heart song

She stood
In her white dress
Among the green grass
Flowers just beginning to bloom.

Her groom
flashed one of those smiles
Voice carried for miles
As he sang her their love song.

How wrong
Were those who heard
The angles that stirred,
They could not hear the promise she did.

In the guitar, she heard the rain
Pounding on the tin roof
Of that old and dying shack
They all said the lovers would one day own.
In his voice, she heard the promise
That through pain, sickness, and even death
he would always stand with her.
In the beats of the drums
she heard her heart joining with hers.
Now, she has to ask
How can one heart so dependant on the other
Survive alone.

She stood
The sun hiding
And the moon striding,
She poured them wine in the living room.

Her groom
Caused pain and tears
After just three years
He was through stringing her along.

How wrong
The thought her heart
Would cease to start
Without him to make her survive.

She is alive.
