Mental spillage, interesting but purposeful.
Flying through the wispy wiles
of tissues, nerves and splitting atoms,
finds the seeker darkness, light
and greyness served on silver platters.
Never one to ask the server
why He gives great heaping portions,
accepting, eating, process rejecting
unused seeming unimportance.
In one rounded curve of flesh
to try to stick and find a purpose,
out the other, information
unregarded strands of losses.
‘Til the beating muscle lower,
finding meanings unpretentious,
soaks them up and stores them deep
until the mind can be so gracious
as to take a fleeting look
upon the knowledge centuries given
and realize then that truth unbidden
carries weight of steel and leaden.
Floating down upon the ocean,
higher than the mountain’s breathing,
centuries cannot begin to fathom
where these words relentless leading.
So look beyond black, grey and white
to further south and beating drums,
so much above an organ’s purpose,
feeling deep agape love.

Note: Agape is pronounced ah-GAH-pay, and is one of the original three biblical words for "love," meaning unconditional love, the kind of love where you would gladly give your life without a thought.
