Dear friend,
When i look into the past
And i remember the times that are gone
i smile to myself 'cos i realize
you've always been a good friend all along

When i sit on my own
and i don't really know what to do
My mind strays to the times
that i wish i'd just forget

When i ask myself
Why i'm trying so hard to forget
i come to a point when i ask myself why
And i realize its because of the hurt that it brings

then i think again
and then i really see
in the midst of all the hurt
there's one little thing

and then i remember
when there was no one left
when no one seemed to care
your shoulder never failed to keep my head from falling
