A internal debate... is he the one?
My life upon a pedestal stood
A statue cold and prim.
Decisions changed the path I would
Have taken, now so grim.
"Take flight!" said I, my conscience Right,
"Leave now this path behind."
"No, stay," Left opined of my plight,
"Just give a bit more time."
"Time you've given," Right insisted,
"Enough now, just move on."
"But is that right?" Left now resisted,
"Do you really know right from wrong?"
Betwixt these two opposing minds,
My own, yet separate views,
I finally left that relentless grind
To Him of unbiased truth.
I ended on my own, I thought,
Alone to find my way,
When out of cyber passways brought
My knight to save the day.
He walked among my closest crowd
With ease and simple grace
Since then and through the future, now,
My side has been his place.
"That really was awfully fast," Left said,
Being ever the pessimist side.
"Just shush over there," from the Right of my head,
"He makes her so happy inside."
"But how can she know that he's really the one?"
Left thought she had won this fight.
"Because her heart is what's leading her," Right said, "For point one,
And point two, it was love at first sight."
"Fast, like I said, she should really slow down,"
Left gave out her last feeble say.
"Well right now her world has been turned upside down,"
Right grinned, "now it's her turn to play.
She's stood as a statue for far now too long,
This child was meant to fly.
So be quiet and just let her lift her wingsong,
He's the wind who'll show her the sky."
