A poem about life, love, and more.
Words escape my mouth,
My thoughts headed south.
The day is nearly run,
Ending with the sinking of the sun.

I wish I knew what tomorrow will bring.
Will I rise up rejoicing and sing,
Of Something greater than I,
Or will tomorrow be the day I die?

The future is never as clear as the past
Even in this we know the present won't last.
So what then will we make of today?
Will we work, toil, or play?

I offer a compromise to this state.
Why not find love before it's to late.
Grabbing hold of that you value most
Enduring love for which to boast.

Trusting for them into your future
The basis of joy for which you nurture.
This love is one for whom I search.
Maybe this love is near, in the lurch.

How will I know I've found the one
To love with the setting of the sun.
Maybe the answer should be clear.
I wish, I pray that she is near.
