The storms of life happen to all who walk this earth.
Alone in the darkness,
the light went out,
I turned to touch you,
you were gone.
I heard the thunder,
rain beating upon my heart,
wild with jealousy,
I needed to know why I was trashed,
for another,
a better lover?
I laid frozen upon the bed,
wishing I was dead.
Thunder flashing ,hate growing,
chilled to the bone,
I stumble as I look out the window,
to stare into your face,
you will never be welcome again,
into this heart,
you ripped it apart.
Tears fall down my face,
cleansing the pain,
A new dawn has risen,
upon the charred remains,
of love turned to derision.
