A short piece about values, beliefs, and society.
There are rules in this world

            laws you must abide by

To try and make sense of these,

        to sense the reason,

To try and reason with them,

                There's no sense in that

  The laws are concrete

                The rules      strict

        Break them and be Broken

                    The rules call for

  A loss of Hope

                      A denial of Love

A firm resolution that there is no

Higher being; no One to care

  The laws require a

          Destruction of Faith,

A            shattering of care

          and a Devotion of adhereing

      only to ones self.

            The world will follow these

    Simple    laws

                            Simple Rules

Follow them till the day we die.

                  Following the denial of

                Faith

                                          Hope

            Love

                          Care

Feeling

                                                      Others

          Yet who can say they

Have followed these rules to perfection,

Laws punished with death.
