A moment where you feel life is pointless. A glimpse into existentialism.
Wake up in the morning all alone,
The light of day barely glows.
The clouds of white go passing by,
As I let out the pressure of a sigh.

The simple task of getting up feels futile.
The bleakness of the dawn feels cruel.
Will it matter what I do in life today,
Or will my memories wash away in the rain?

How are moments measured for importance?
Judged by you,
Or by the world?

When you're gone,
years from now,
Will your memory make someone smile?

Will you've let the earth, a better place?
Will you has to face,
Disdain, and your own disgrace?

The moments go ticking by,
They're not coming back...

Live in the moment... it's all you've got... don't waste it...
