Afterthoughts of fallen through love.
Precarious Dance

Impulsive infatuation.
Delightful chemical sedation.
Such a short loving season,
Till effort’s muscles begin to reason.

Worn down, tried, and achy.
Then all fouled up and flaky.
Crushing pressure and trudge.
The final hurt and grudge.

Reflections reminisces.
Long after the final hiss,
Of loves once brightening flame gone out.
Leaving contradictions of hope and doubt.

Can two still hope to find,
A few simple rules to bind.
Hearts with loves simple song
Or only tunes of right and wrong?

Filled with heavy explanation,
Of gentle hope's assassination.
Such a precarious dance,
Between motive and chance.
