This is about life, death, and revenge. And how those things feel.
Let me tell you how my life began,
What opened my eyes and made me a man,
Darker places are hard to find,
This type of thing can change your mind.

I woke up and opened my eyes,
Seeing everything but the skies,
All of the evil thats inside,
Can sweep lives away in a crimson tide.

Once the hate begins to build,
It grows and grows until you feel filled,
Revenge is such a bitter thing,
Wanting payback with a sting.

You can justify it and feel glory,
But is the result any less gory?
This type of stain you can't erase,
You can't forget the look on their face.

Another body out in the cold,
Life cut short, no chance to grow old,
Anyone can make a mistake,
But does that make their life yours to take?
