Tanslation for "Solo y Triste"
Wanna make something clear first, this is the translation of the other item on my portfolio, the one in Spanish "Solo y Triste" Because I've been asked to translate it so as it is JUST a translation and NOT an adaptation theres no rhyme rhythm or metric, if you wanna check that you need to see the other poem, the original one

THANKS !!!!

                                Sad and Lonely

He'd break to cry if he talked
sitting on the sand looking at the sea
the waves are starting to sorround him
theres no hatred and no burning pain in his eyes

as if he could hear a mermaid singing
or does he listen to the waves crying
                              the man just keep staring
at the horizon after the sun is gone

and I wanna know what spell has fallen upon him
Who is the girl and why has she betrayed him ?

Days go by without the man budging
he hasn't even got to sleep
he suffers from a wounded heart
he needs a drink and a friend

if we want him to stay alive

How is the heart doing when it has lost it all?
is it all an illusion or does destiny hates me?
and how many falls await me by the road?
will I get up again or will I stay on the floor?
