My city was horrified when the snow started as the sun set; I was overjoyed!!
                                    WINTER LIFE, ALIVE!

Winter life, alive!
Stars soar amid blowing clouds;
snow is not far off!

Snow is not far off--
school kids await their fun::
snow drifts all around.

Snow drifts all around--
spaces caked with icing-swirls,
frozen, sugar-like.

Frozen, sugar-like.
Icing not like any cake.
Frosty thrills abound!

Frosty thrills abound.
Joyous playing all around!
Winter, life alive!
