A little more abstract poem.
Silence

For once my head wants to hear only the sweet kiss of nothing
Close my eyes
With soft lips of this abyss I look up to grey
Beat me down
Cover my fluttering heart with your soft blanket of dewy snow
Silence my voice with the whisper of regret
I hate you
I love you
Who knows what this word is?
I scoff at this petty four letter lie.
What does it stand for?
What do I stand for?
Forgiveness lingers on my lips dripping off into nothing
You give up too hastily
I resigned long ago
Who is the sinner now?
The impostor or the ambivalent?
I ridicule this.
Apologies shoot through my eyes into your heart
Forgive me?
