Life is too short to be sad,so smile.
I Will Always Smile
-------------------------------
Since my very child hood
In my bed room corner
There was white cabinet
Standing under our mirror.

It has seen my tiny height
Long hair with clip
It has seen my floppy hand
My pinkish lip

Often I stand alone in its front
To see my eyes & teeth
Myself and my little frock
Printed flower with.

Sometimes it has seen me
With my Mom’s costume on
Stethoscope around my neck
With her white apron.

It has heard many songs with tune
That I sang for her
My dance, acting and expression
For it’s my mirror

It had listened all my stories
I learnt from my teacher
It had heard my poems, essays
What not for sure

I grew on as days passed
It retained her height
But I kept on telling her
My stories & secret

Long time ago I left my mirror
Miles away from me
I remember some time back
I had gone to see

Again I told her my secret,
My sorrows and worries
With patience heard she all
My theocratic stories

She smiled at my face
Told me at the end
This is life full of sorrows
Don’t now tears shred

I asked my solitude friend
What should I do then?
She said “face it as it comes
End of the day you win.

Take it from me if not today
Yours is tomorrow sure
Believe on me or not tiny friend
All have faced like your.

Go and laugh you finished your sorrows
Now you will only giggle
Can you please sing for me again
Your child hoods’ jingle?”

I kissed her on cute forehead
With a sweet smile
“Thank you, I promise my old mirror
I will always smile.”
