of deserts and illusions
As I walk on this murky desert
I realize without a reason
For what was meant to be
The world that is down here was not the only leap.

Still I walk
Since I have set out
Not for once I turn around
Until I know I am being followed
As that is the path for you and me.

I try to turn as I trip and fall
I know it well that I am going around
Creepers gnaw at my knee
We have come through this all
You and me

While I look beyond.. that is all I see
An illusion of sorts in the desert city
I see yet another path
And will that lead me
To the Master of all, the divine glory?

I keep walking in the new path
I know I have strayed
I keep going on
Fear is anew in my dying heart
And the path is hard on my weakened knees

I think I have found it
The bliss beyond
I run through the sand
And feel it lash

Not knowing how it was a desert storm
Come to blind my eyes
As there was no path..was never meant to be!
