It tells everything about a war.
THE WAR

Everywhere the land was covered with fur of ripe crops
The merry farmers were preparing to harvest their toils
In those happy moments, came the news like a monster
To wipe away every color of happiness
To paint every door with fear and despair
As they told, the neighbor country had invaded their homeland
The War had begun, nobody knew why
Soon came the announcements, full of vigor
Entire nation had to fight back, every youth had to contribute
Youngsters had started talking high, were willing to kill and die
The fathers were serious and thinking
Mothers were crying and lamenting
Young wives were preparing for the worst
Looking in to the faces of their men as much as they could
Hugging them strongly on every opportunity, lest the winds take them away
Alas the wind came to every village, every door
And the youngsters moved to the front
Leaving behind lamenting mothers, glum fathers
Leaving behind silent wives with dry eyes,
The threads of tears had broken, and they were going
The crops were still being harvested, but not by hand any more
The fire made by enemy replaced the hands of farmers
Enemy was marching ahead, leaving behind burnt fields
And on those fields were crying orphans among dead men and robbed women
Same was happening on both sides of border
War was going on, hunter and hunted were the same
After enough routing of humanity, there came the news
Peace was declared, War had ended
The declared harvest of it was victory of justice
The untold harvest was spread in streets and fields
Soldiers, wounded and deprived of life were coming back
Every village was waiting, every door was waiting
Every vehicle that came, raised hope in every door
But they brought happiness and sorrow both
Distributed as destiny desired
From one such carrier dismounted a young soldier
Soon he will be a farmer again
After so much of killings, he will create again
The village welcomed him, amidst the songs of joy
He saw the eldest man of village holding an infant
Smilingly, he went to him and gazed in to the eyes
Eyes of infant were full of life, and knew nothing
Eyes of old man were tired of knowing so much
But the flame of life was very much present
Soldier held the infant, kissed him and whispered to the old man
WHY WE KILL
