Only a memory now, but it's the best I've ever felt. This poem barely does it justice.
Listen to me; I’ll sing you a song.
A song about a love that will never die.
Let me look in your eyes; I can see right to your soul.
Deep down inside where a wounded heart hides.
Don’t be afraid, my love, don’t shy away.
Free your mind; I will bring you faith.
Faith in me to ease your pain.
Spread your wings; come fly with me.
I want to jump with no other.
Kiss me sweet; soft and tender.
No other kiss can ever compare.
Give me the key; I will treasure it always.
The greatest gift you could ever give to me.
Speak to me softly; the sweet voice I adore.
“Goodnight and I love you.”
Rest your head; I will hold you close.
Watch you slumber in my embrace.
The greatest peace my mind has known.
As we lay, I break the quiet only to say,
I love you too
