A messy break-up and how a boy committed suicide after girlfriend ended the relationship.
Tick, tock, goes the clock
Another year has passed
And as I brood within my mind
I know this cannot last

I think about the thing I've done
And tears roll down my face
I did not mean to kill my love
He'd screamed, "God lend me Grace!"

"Goodbye," I'd whispered solemnly
He had not understood
Until I'd turned without a word
He'd never known I could

And there he'd lain with lifeless eyes
Blood staining sparkling snow
"Oh God!" I'd whispered desperately
"Oh Lord," I'd said, "Please, no!"

Now time has passed and here I sit
Within these wretched walls
Here contemplating life and death
And all their major falls

I have not lived though I have lost
And now I simply wait
For the dead thumping of my heart
To cease its lonely gait.
