Going through the motions of being in a bad relationship.
I stand alone
darkness, silence
I am peaceful

Mid day approaches
anxious, rush hour comes
It stays to chat,
an hour or so

Adrenaline
subtracted from equation
Equals
Exhausted contentness

But soon criticism
in blue variations, return
with its hat and dirty shoes

Eyes,
deep and hollow
My best,
moon and stars
aren't satisfyingly delicious

I cry in dreams
Awake smiling
