Walking out to that place that I long since forgot
Hold my hands out high
This is the day, I just want to fly.

As I stand there on the edge of the world
Over looking the city below, down under the cascading mountains and ever-greens,
Flowing forests that cover the horizon
There’s magic in the sweet summer’s air.
I can feel it everywhere
The fresh smell of morning due
The warm wind that sooth the aching in my heart

Close my eyes, I listen to the song my heart is singing
Words so crisp and clear it specks, only I can hear.
I’m tired of living with half open eyes and a closed off mind
I’m tired of hearing life’s melancholy melody
So here we go.

Hazel eyes snap open, burning wild like the sun
The transformation has begun
Me and the universe as one
And as I feel the energy ripping through my veins
I walk towards the end of this reality, head up high
No fear that I might die.

The wind stop around me
the tension is mounting.
Suddenly a confidant smirk strikes across my lips
The time as come.
Hold my breath, count to ten. I leap into the air and off the mountain of uncertainty.
Who knows from here on out, the future is unclear
If I may crash and burn, I don’t care
I’m going to spread my wings and be out of here.
For love and freedom
I’ll over come the sting of humanity.
