Poem of lost love
The rain falls gently on my head,
                And I begin to cry,
For life has take you from my arms,
And all I ask is why.

Just when life seemed at it’s best,
         You went away from me,
Taken by the cruelty of fate,
         Stolen by destiny.

And here I mourn, all alone,
         Without you by my side,
And wondering where my life will lead,
         Wishing I would die.

For in a world without my love,
I’m too weak to go on,
The only thing I ever loved,
         Is now forever gone.

Everywhere I see your face,
And I wish that I could be,
In your arms once again,
         But that will never be.

You have left me on this earth,
         To suffer a broken heart,
And I have nothing to live for,
         Since we are forced apart.

And so, my love, I’ll be there soon,
That’s all I want to do,
Because my heart did die with you,
And soon, my body shall too.
