just, something im feeling right now, its a dark poem
holding these feelings
behind a hundred foot wall of concrete
never to be seen
by you or he or even she

this mask
its taking me to task

its taller than a sycamore
deeper than the canyons
with lands needing no companion

lands of black black black

hatred filled with tacks
touch and you will be hurt
but i hide it in the earth

sorrow covered by small wooden shacks
covered but unseen
just barely

trees called anger
forests expansive beyond our eyesight
naught even hawks see the rings

rivers of denial
running wider than the nile
deeper than the marianas
but its just denial
so it wont matter in the next mile

this mile long barrier,
this hundred foot wall

this is my shame
this is my oppression
this is my discretion
i have a door
i keep it closed for a reason

fear is a lock of diamond
dont fear, its never gonna be damaged or played on

u ask
i shake my head and
oh no
this barrier is here,
this barrier brakes and disintigrates
this rage inside, if released,
will make u die
it wont be me
itll be my hands
it wont be thine mind
but from the lands behind

don't push my barriers
they're there for my reasons unknown
and unknown they'll remain

for i know my sorrows
and i know my pain
its not very plain

i know my anger
and i know my cause
but to your eyes, its misted in my flaws

its best that way
