recognition of my love
Love is a sweet disease, swift and catches you unaware,
To hold her tightly in your arms and smile without a care.
You know she will be with you, and give you all her heart
And when you're asked "How does it feel?" You don't know where to start.
If I believed there was a heaven, Then I guess I'd have to say
That I'm in heaven every time I see her come my way.
She is the lovely carpenter that rebuilt my life anew,
And the Love that she instills in me is the only I hold true.
So this is my salute to you the keeper of my soul,
For you are that cherubic piece that finally made me whole!
