A poem to nature.
Twisted branches reaching,
Leaves falling like rain.
She begins teaching,
The earth to renew again.

She tries to mend wounds,
By starting over each time.
Never realizing the ruins,
Will always be there in our minds.

The pictures haunt us,
Filling our hearts with pain.
The memories taunt us,
Remembering how it all began.

The wind carrying our fears,
In twisted torrents it flowed.
The results residual for years,
The debris will never coast.

Our faith was tested that day,
She tried hard to make us see.
No matter the way,
Forever in our hearts she would be.

Our broken hearts,
Our fragile minds,
Could never tell apart,
What we would find.

We have to be strong,
We have to be brave,
For when the day comes in long,
We realize we must stay.

So try intently to believe,
Even if at times it seems hard.
She will never leave,
Even if the world falls apart,
Forever she will be.
