A poem about pain and trial, and the hope of answers
Follow me into this shadowy region
Where time does pass
But not the seasons
The fire in my eyes
Burns hotter then the sun
It is not from this yearning
Hurts the things that you’ve done

I am the bearer of burdens
The bag I carry is deep
Many a thing inside it
Make even grown men weep
There are secrets buried within me
Things you will never know
The chasm that grows between us
More abstract then Van Gogh

I am the keeper of hearts
Of the people that I’ve touched
Essence seems to linger still
My gift becomes a crutch
