You never gave anything I could hold, but what you gave was just enough.
What you gave me:

You never gave anything I could hold,
But what you gave was just enough.
Sly calls when we were meant to work,
Nudges and smiles when no one looked,
A secret to muse from across the room,
Drunken messages on my phone,
My name sung softly under your breath,
A skip in my step and a light in my eyes.
You never gave me anything I could hold,
But what you gave was just enough.
