I saw old jingles today, and he made me think of countrymom
I saw Old Jingles today.
I thought about you,
having been there for me.
Now I think of you alone
on a Vermont spring day.

I thought about you,
sending me Jingles one day
to get me through the holidays
when I was so far away,
needing a taste of home.

Having been there for me,
you understand friendship,
and how to extend a hand,
and how a small token
can mean so much.

Now I think of you alone
and wish I were there,
to return the hug
you sent to me
from across the sea.

On a Vermont Spring day,
I talk to my singing moose.
"Jingles, please go to Julie.
Tell her I prayed for her today,
God help my friend on her way!"
