A poem about greed and power.
There’s only so much I can do,
To prove to you
It’s not money that makes our love go round,
It was only you.

But you lost it a long time ago,
Some where between friend and foe.

Power, manipulation, all part of your infatuation.
Turned into self mutilation.

How does it feel to be alone?
To be right, and always wrong?

Never a “I’m sorry”
From one so clever.
Why apologize
When you create the weather?

Playing God is your flaw,
One that happens to affect us all.
