Heroin addiction
You are my lover when I’m alone at night

In some dark abandoned place

Just a needle and a candle light

When all my friends have left me

Tired of my lies

You my addiction,

Never leave my side

For you I have given all a person can possibly give

I have no money, no self-esteem, and no place to live

For you I left my family, safety, and my home

Only to be left hurt, broken, sick and alone

It’s you that I call out for as I’m shivering in bed

It’s you that I need and it’s you that I dread

Like sleeping beauty you placed me in a trance

From your intoxicating, deadly, heroin dance
