Welcome to the underworld! Bite Size Poetry. Prompt : Heat
Hades

Downward I fell into the blazing inferno
Cloaked in waves of scorching flames
Blistering fires erupted from below
Like a lash that whips and tames

A shadow towards me came slithering
A burning hand he proffered to me
"Welcome to Hades" he said chuckling
"Welcome to my realm for eternity!"
