all around me were smaller concrete high rises.
My hand instinctevely went to my pocket and retrieved the key from my faded denim slacks. raising it to the locked in the door in front i felt a cool wind at about eye level ( where the insert was positioned). lightblue sky pieced through the semi darkness as i covered the hole with the key the light disappeared and i could feel the air coming through on my hand . I pushed hard and turned as I knew it was sticky since i didn't know when. i had aquired the knack, but from where? the door unlocked i pushed against it not knowing if it would open out or in. it diddnt work so i pulled it open and felt a slight uneasiness akin to opening to door to your house to a stranger. i was on the roof of a tall building. all around me were smaller concrete high rises. i could see th
