a new poem.
Human soul,
Grief-stricken, tormented.
Human spirit,
Perception, sense-prevented.
Beyond limits of material experience,
Empty pledges of no significance,
To a tortured soul.

Please, remind me;
of those blissful vanishing days,
Blue skies;
Eyes shining in countless ways.
Tossed upon eternal waves,
Exploring the subterranean caves,
With you.

Twilight;
Memories absent on the rising tides.
Morning,
only tinted remembrance presides.
Those trials of yours and mine,
Searching for that crucial sign,
Those were the days.

I look away,
Passing thoughts and skyline longings.
Nothing really there;
Shake away the echo of a girl’s aching.
Silly romantic gestures,
A thousand negative exposures,
My deepest secret.

Nobody knew,
One farewell, one single thud
Higher than hope,
perhaps hide it, but it floods.
I built you a home,
But now, I’m alone,
Tragedies of the heart.
