When you know it's over.
IN THE SHADOWS OF MY MIND





In the shadows of my mind,
I go back to a place in time...

A place where love was so strong
and no matter what,
in your heart,
you knew,
it couldn't be wrong...

A place where we could escape
and relish on what was going to be,
but
we were so blind we could not see...

In the shadows of my mind
I go back to a place in time.

A place of laughter
and happily ever afters

But

You must know
and
I must come to realize
that is where we are to remain
In the shadows of my mind...
