Love transparent
Truth uncoloured
Desire laid bare
Weakness exposed unashamed

Allowing one to come close
Closer than any other
Results in the removal of the mask
Worn to hide ourselves from ourselves

The Other can be a mirror
In which one may see oneself
If you are strong
If you are unafraid

Our own eyes are limited
Trapped in our heads
Ever looking outward
Unable to see within

The understanding of our Self
Is distorted
As though looking through a frame
Of faceted glass
